In a small, Northern Vermont Kitchen, we sate our appetites with homemade meals and a love of local ingredients.

Hot and Spicy Roasted Pecans

This time of year, all I want are homemade roasted nuts. (Correction, I’m actually a raging peanut addict all year long. But during the holidays, all I want are roasted pecans.)

And these guys are fiery, salty, and completely addictive.

Jedd doesn’t even like pecans and he ate about a cup in about 5 minutes. How crazy is that?

For the next month when visiting friends or having people over to the apartment – these are going to be my go to snack. They’re perfect with cocktails, beer or wine, and are completely festive.

So, turn the oven on and throw down that parchment paper. Grab some nuts and spices, and be prepared for your taste buds to fall in love. Or, at least “extreme like.”

Nah. Love.
